This school, shop and gallery has a national reputation for its excellent arts programs. The shop brings the finest in handcrafted American glass, fiber, metal, wood, ceramics, basketry, jewelry, and mixed media to the Shoreline. The Mill Gallery at the Guilford Art Center exhibits exceptional work by both emerging and established artists. Located in a converted lumber mill, the Mill Gallery presents biennial ceramics and glass exhibitions, as well as other media-specific shows and exhibitions of student and faculty work. Exhibitions are often complemented by related classes in the school or by gallery lectures. All exhibitions are free and open to the public. Works in gallery exhibitions are often offered for sale.

Each summer the Center runs Expo, Connecticut's largest exposition of fine crafts.
