The Shoreline Arts Alliance and The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center present Shakespeare on the Shoreline 2010.
Twelfth Night is one of the great comedy plays by William Shakespeare with a plot that centers on a shipwreck, jealousy, mistaken identity, cross-dressing with a few fights and duels thrown in for good measure. It is a play about appearance and perception and the path to true love. All is resolved in the end, with one exception, as Shakespeare addresses the ‘madness of love.’ Connecticut Free Shakespeare will be adding special elements of their own including original music and a living intermission where the cast interacts and performs with the audience.
Free; bring picnic dinners, blankets, chairs.
