![]() Law Enforcement and Special Olympics have a long standing relationship. The Guilford Police Department is very active in supporting and Fund-Raising for Special Olympics Connecticut. Over the past 4 years we have been ranked in the top 4 agencies in the state in fund raising. Our department department record is one 1st place, two 3rd place and a 4th place finish. The 2000 total had our department missing 1st place by less than $250.00 The Guilford Police Department would like to thank the many generous businesses and individuals who assisted us in our fund raising efforts.
Tip-A-Cop The 15th Annual "Tip-A-Cop" fundraiser for Connecticut Special Olympics will be held at Chips Pub II on Thursday May 24, 2007. All proceeds benefit Connecticut Special Olympics. There will be a D.J. during the evening hours and official Special Olympics and "Tip-A-Cop" T-shirts and merchandise available. The event has proven to be a great family event and lots of fun for all ages.
